Today I had the pleasure of speaking at the Microsoft TechEd Europe 2014 conference in Barcelona Spain. It was an event I have been looking forward to and judging from the pre-registrations to my sessions, it was going to be a good audience. Indeed it was – over 500 registrations for the sessions and the audience was engaged the whole time. It was also great to be able to interact with so many ADCS environments at once. For instance, from a quick straw-poll, there were almost a dozen organizations still running Windows Sever 2003. With its looming End of Support deadline of July 2015, there is still work to do to get everyone upgraded in time.
I presented on the Top 10 Most Common ADCS PKI Deployment Mistakes organizations make around the world. It’s a topic I am passionate about and one I could have talked about far longer than the 75 minutes I was allocated. There were also several great questions from the audience at the end – something that I am always happy to field.
The initial results from the session are in and it appears that my session scored the best session for the day which I am quite pleased by. So a big thank you to everyone that completed a survey feedback for the session today. Feedback comments include:
“A perfect presentation. Wish everyone could present so confidently and clear spoken”
“Useful information, pleasantly presented.”
“Very useful technical session”
For those that were unable to make my session, it was recorded by TechEd and will be available online soon. I will post a link to the session when it is available. In the mean time, a PDF copy of the presentation is available here: CDP-B242-Top 10 PKI Deployment Mistakes
UPDATE: The Channel 9 recording of the session is now available online or in a downloadable format at http://channel9.msdn.com/Events/TechEd/Europe/2014/CDP-B242
