PKI Spotlight Release 31.1: New EJBCA Virtual Agent and Support for CRL Partitioning

New Feature:  EJBCA Monitoring

This release introduces new monitoring support for EJCBA, a platform-independent, open-source PKI that is known for its flexibility and robust nature.  PKI Spotlight has developed a direct API integration that acts as a virtual agent to gain visibility into CA health, availability, topology and configuration risk.  Through this virtual agent, customers can now:

• Monitor the health and availability of EJBCA CAs
• Surface each EJBCA CA as a Virtual Agent within Spotlight
• Receive Events when EJBCA connectivity changes or when a CA service transitions between running and not running
• View EJBCA CAs within the Topology view to understand certificate chain relationships
• Identify configuration risks through EJBCA Best Practice Alerts and Health Alerts

New Feature:  CRL Partitioning Support

In addition to EJBCA, this latest release of Spotlight introduces new events and best practice checks for visibility into environments that are using Microsoft CRL Partitioning.  Part of this feature includes:

• CRL Partitioning compatibility.
• Added events for CRL partitioning configuration changes.
• Best practice checks for large CRLs, invalid CRL distribution point URLs, and incomplete CRL partitioning configuration.
